When I was Young, I Named the Wind
When I was young I named the wind
The wind was mine, he blew for me
I would hide in the trees in the back
in the front in the woods by the stone wall at the stone farm
and wait for it’s blanket
Before, all this
The rains were biblical
I told god
you decide, now
and
hydroplaned off the exit
tears in the rain (like my favorite book, like my favorite movie)
That’s when I begun the time of no motion, motion
We drove
each day was the same except for the terrain
This rain was a waterfall
the ravens roared by
It ended in light, a million colors like the raves
or down on avenue a, or d
when I was drifting
The wind whisked and said, it’s all clear now, just look and see
