“Julie…has a rare set of skills that span some of the most challenging industries when it comes to successful digital transformations. I am so glad Julie and I had the opportunity to work with another.”— Reena Patel Jain, MPH
Director, Corporate Strategy at Vizient, Inc
Hi, I’m Julie Elaine Brown. I’m a serial entrepreneur and founder committed to helping people optimize their lives. I moved to San Francisco in 1998 after Graduate School and have taken advantage of the incredible innovator culture.
I’ve built and sold startups, run a multi-million dollar consultancy, and helped businesses grow their brands. I’m an INTJ but known to be a connector.
I’m also a Producer of The Singularity University Film, and I have an infamous cameo in my exes book.
My life is one of freedom and fun–I work hard but enjoy what I do. I love business, but I equally love staying healthy, both mentally and physically. I tend to focus my client work and startup work with health and wellness companies.
As the Founder and C.E.O. of Kusadama Enterprises, Inc., I built a team of awesome experts who worked as extensions of teams at some of the largest brands in the world. We help companies such as Microsoft, Years of Living Dangerously, Cisco, VMWare, Wells Fargo, Tonix Pharma, NRG, Reliant Energy, MDHN, Roc Noir, and more, increase targeted leads, build loyalty, and optimize conversion funnels.
I am passionate about doing things differently and helping make the world a better place. My purpose is to help people live their best lives and be well.
Iam currently an Advisor and Investor in several SAAS, ecommerce, and B2B companies. I was the CEO of InnerRewards, a Series A-1 funded ecommerce platform for wellness experiences & retreats–think Orbitz, or better yet, Tablet, specifically for wellness. I sold the assets to our largest competitor in 2010.
And, before that, I was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Johnson & Johnson where I created the first of its kind community and resource library for elder caregivers.
I was also one of the earlier employees at StubHub, an ecommerce ticket hub that was bought by eBay. What an introduction to the startup world!
My passion is helping women live their best lives, reverse age, and optimize their minds and bodies.
I have an M.A. in Journalism from Northeastern University, and a B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
I’m a bit of a digital nomad these days. I recently drove across country to spend some time near family in Cambridge, Massachusetts. My consultancy is headquarted in beautiful Jackson Square, San Francisco. My newest startup is HQ in the city by the bay.
