Entrepreneur & Innovator

I am a four-time founder C.E.O. I’ve built, run, and sold startups (including a Series A-1 funded ecommere company).
I currently am the Co-Founder and CEO of Rêve Health.

My experience includes guiding executives, building and selling a wellness startup, pioneering early digital projects at StubHub and Apple, and serving as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Johnson & Johnson.

In 2022 I almost died and had 2 major surgeries that could have been avoided had my startup existed. I had suffered for years with issues that likely stemmed from a career full of stress, where I put everyone else first. Now, I prioritize my health because without it, we have nothing.

My journey brings me a unique insight into working with leaders and founders, who often put their business ahead of their own needs. I make it my priority to create focus, so leaders can do more with less. Hopefully this helps them thrive in work and in life!

How it all started
January 15, 1998
Moved to San Francisco

After Graduate School I moved to SF in the middle of the dot.com boom and started working at US/Web CKS, which became Razorfish. I worked on the Apple. Visa, Sega, Barbie, and CNN accounts leading brand, content, and UX strategy.

Stubhub

Trial by fire at a rapidly growing funded startup, later bought by EBay. I led the editorial team, SEO/SEM, email marketing, merchandising, and branding.

Johnson & Johnson

I helped create an eldercare community as the the Editor-in-Chief and Executive Producer. We launched in D.C, with the Rosalyn Carter Institute for Caregiving.

InnerRewards

Launched a wellness retreat ecommerce marketplace (like an upscale orbitz) that was Series A funded. We were acquired just 18 months later.

Freedom

I have been a founder and entrepreneur for the past 20 years.
I was inspired by my Grandfather who ran a small store in rural Massachusetts. In high school and beyond I worked for him, and was always impressed by the amount of dedication and diligence running a business entailed…but also how much freedom you can have over your day, your environment, and even your customers.

My Journey So Far

I wanted to be a writer when I was a kid…and life got in the way. I moved to San Francisco after Grad School and got caught up in the startup world. It was exciting and I was good at it. I was known as a disruptor–and I immersed myself into the startup world. No matter where I worked, I was able to get to the real “story” behind a brand, or a person. I was always a writer at heart.

Entrepreneur

I am the Co-Founder and CEO of Rêve Health. Before that I was the CEO of a multi-million dollar consultancy helping Fortune 100s with GTM strategy, marketing strategy, and business strategy. Funny enough one of my most requested services was helping executives hone in on their life purpose.
Prior to my consultancy, I ran an Ecommerce marketplace for holistic wellness retreats. We were Series-A funded, and we sold the assets to a competitor, after which I took some time off to travel.

I have touched all aspects of the marketing funnel including branding, messaging and positioning; designing websites and CMS’, crafting the content, CX, and UX strategy; Seo, Sem, ppc; marketing plans, business plans, investor decks and financial modeling; email marketing, analytics, GTM strategy, product creation and launches; event planning and launches. I’ve helped Fortune 10s and startups, B2B, B2C, and enterprises launch and scale.

I am an executive level strategic brand builder and marketer. For 13 years I ran a marketing and digital strategy consultancy, called Kusadama Enterprises which served clients such as Nasa Ames, Google, Apple, Microsoft, HP, NRG Energy, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and Goldman Sachs. I also have provided services to startups and the occasional purpose-driven small business!
