ABOUT ME

About Julie Elaine Brown

“I’m a 4X founder and entrepreneur,

helping people live their best lives.”

–Julie Elaine Brown, M.A.

4X Founder

I am a four-time founder C.E.O. I’ve built, run, and sold startups (including a Series A-1 funded ecommere company).
I currently am the Co-Founder and CEO of Rêve Health.

25+ Years

For 25 years I’ve been an entrepreneur and storyteller. My experience is eclectic but the common thread is helping people design a life of wellbeing.

My Journey So Far

I wanted to be a writer when I was a kid…and life got in the way. I moved to San Francisco after Grad School and got caught up in the startup world. It was exciting and I was good at it. I was known as a disruptor–and I immersed myself into the startup world. No matter where I worked, I was able to get to the real “story” behind a brand, or a person. I was always a writer at heart.

Vegetarian, Hiker, Holistic Wellness Partaker

I’ve been a step aerobics instructor and fitness volunteer and have always been active as a hiker, runner, and gym-goer.

I believe that when we take care of our minds and bodies, we can age gracefully–naturally. I do not use Botox or fillers (and have no judgment for those who do!) because I think wrinkles are a sign of an interesting life.

BUT…that doesn’t mean I want to look old! I stay hydrated; eat an organic, Vegetarian, Mediterranean diet; get out in nature as much as possible; and use active stress-reduction programs (that I created for myself) to look and feel my best. I aim for 8 hours of sleep a night.

Executive-Level Consultant

I’ve worked with some of the largest companies, including Johnson & Johnson, where I was a Producer and Editor-in-Chief of a caregiving resource. I got to meet Rosalyn Carter at The White House!

An Entrepreneur at Heart

I have been a founder and entrepreneur for the past 20 years.
I was inspired by my Grandfather who ran a small store in rural Massachusetts. In high school and beyond I worked for him, and was always impressed by the amount of dedication and diligence running a business entailed…but also how much freedom you can have over your day, your environment, and even your customers.

My Core Values

I believe in a holistic view of health where everything is integrated!

Your mindset, stress, and attitude
Your diet and exercise
Your environment

My “North Star”

Hello! My name is Julie Elaine Brown, and I’m the Co-Founder and C.E.O. of Rêve Health which helps women connect to their health.

We provide biomarker testing and personalized recommendations from preconception to longevity.

I’ve always been on a mission to live my best life, and to continually optimize my body.

I used to get up at 5am so I could teach Step Aerobics (yep, Reeboks were in my wardrobe) at UMass Amherst while getting a degree in English.
I’ve been either a vegetarian, vegan, pegan, or pescatarian since I was 12.

My absolute favorite thing to do is hike–and I know that might surprise people who know about my wine collection, or my penchant for Zimmermann dresses. There is something about the woods, and nature, and the beautiful accomplishment of a slow ascend while working all your muscles.

It was only in my 40s that I truly started to understand what my “North Star” was–and to beginning to formulate what later became my dream, the company I needed, especially when I became sick after being gaslit by doctors.

My North Star is the dream, the dream to increase my healthspan and lifespan, and to help other women avoid what I went through.

It’s why I named the company, Rêve Health.

Rêve
means dream in French.
